Bricktown Entertainment District – Once a warehouse neighborhood near the railroad tracks, the Bricktown district just east of downtown Oklahoma City is now a hot spot, known for its diverse and often varied entertainment options. From restaurants and nightclubs to shops and sporting venues surrounding a scenic canal, there’s something for everyone in Bricktown.
Oklahoma City Museum of Art – Located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, the Museum of Art offers visitors fine works of art on three floors, including “Dale Chihuly: The Exhibition,” the most comprehensive collection of Chihuly glass in the world. Featuring traveling exhibitions as well as displays from its permanent collection, the museum offers self-guided family tour backpacks filled with games and activities to encourage an interactive exploration of the galleries, as well as Museum School art classes and screenings of classic and art house films.
Myriad Botanical Gardens – Nestled amidst the skyscrapers of downtown Oklahoma City, the Myriad Botanical Gardens is a 17-acre, nationally recognized garden featuring the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory, an amazing 224-foot-long, glass-enclosed, circular jungle graced with towering palm trees, exotic plantings, crashing waterfalls and abundant animal life. The botanical gardens are a lush retreat of winding paths and calm waters in the heart of the city.
